The Business Development Executive will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential clients. This role will also research client business referrals, network, and web leads; provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered and additional presentations as needed; and work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult throughout the sales process.
What you’ll do:
- Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies;
- Build business relationships with current and potential clients;
- Understand client needs and offer solutions and support; answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions as well as respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs);
- Collaborate with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts;
- Create informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences;
- Create and maintain a database of prospective clients; maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information;
- Cold call to potential clients; closing sales and working with leads through to closing Consistently meet quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews while meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
- Maintain a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans;
- Assist and participate in content marketing initiatives to promote the company and its products.

Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Experience with lead generation and prospect management;
- Persuasive and goal-oriented personality with an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives;
- At least four (4) years of sales experience; previous experience in outbound sales generation, or related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close;
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills;
- Demonstrated and proven sales ability Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team;
- Specialised sales training would be a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers

- Design and implement new features and functionality for client web solutions;
- Establish and guide from the website’s architecture to final delivery;
- Ensure high-performance and availability while managing all technical aspects of the CMS;
- Participate in the formulation of an effective, responsive design and turning it into a functional web system;
- Manage front-end and backend-development, generate and work with plugins and themes, performance monitoring;
- Participate in client and team meetings and conduct WordPress client training, where required.

- Solid working knowledge and understanding of front-end technologies, including WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery;
- At least 5 years’ experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications;

- Proven experience working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers;
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages;
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML);
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN;
- Strong working knowledge of Unix based systems;
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development;
- Working knowledge with web hosting panels e.g. CPanel, PLESK, AWS Lightsail / EC2;
- Experience architecting and developing on Amazon Web Services and mobile applications is an asset.
